Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for the writing, publishing and updating of the content on this page.
You can text us anytime using our Chat Health texting service.
There is a texting service across Brighton and Hove and West Sussex called ChatHealth.
It’s safe and easy for you to text in and have a text conversation with one of our qualified nurses. Just send a message, you don’t have to give your name, and we reply to every single message we receive. You can ask any questions about your health or ask for help or advice on anything you might be worried about.
It’s discreet and quick, and it only takes one message to start making a difference.
The text line is monitored all year, including during school holidays, between 9am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays).
We aim to reply to all messages within one working day, and you should get an immediate bounce back message to confirm that we have received your text. You can still text in the evenings and at the weekends, but you won’t get a personal response until the next working day.
If you need help before you hear back from us, contact your GP, call NHS 111 or dial 999 if it is an emergency.
