Allsorts

Be OK: Youth Mental Health - Mid-Sussex, Crawley or Horsham
“Be OK” is a free mental health service for people aged 16 to 25. We provide confidential support which promotes independence and helps to build resilience.
We can offer you support if you are aged 16 to 25, living in Crawley, Horsham or Mid Sussex and are:
- Worried about your mental health and need advice or information
- Have a mental health diagnosis and need help learning to cope
- At college or university and struggling with your mental health
- Moving from Children and Young People mental health services to adult services
- We can help you to get ahead in life by learning to cope with your mental health, learning new skills and gaining confidence.
- We offer a range of support such as:
- One to one support from one of our Recovery Workers to help you achieve your goals
- Groups and activities to learn new skills and meet new people
- Support to move into work, volunteering or education
- Support from Peer Mentors who have personal experience of living with mental health problems

West Sussex Mind - Worthing, Adur, Arun, Chichester, Midhurst and Chanctonbury
West Sussex Mind offer mental health support to young people aged 16 – 25 across Worthing, Adur, Arun, Chichester, Midhurst and Chanctonbury areas
- They provide confidential support to promote resilience and identify your goals to improve your mental health.
- They work alongside you to increase your understanding and try new tools and strategies.
- They offer a range of well-being workshops, webinars and social groups to connect people together and improve well-being.
- They can even work with your parents and carers.

My Independence, My Health, My Life Project with Barnado's In West Sussex
This is a FREE NHS funded West Sussex based Service.
Our goal is to promote independence, health, and life skills.
There are 4 options
Online Health Skills Youth Group
A FREE 4-week online health skills youth group
.
This takes place every Thursday evening 5pm-7:30pm during term-time
It takes place over Zoom.
· Healthy eating & Cooking
· Emotional health & Wellbeing
· Fitness, Exercise & Personal Care
· Health Services & Medication
We will also cook a homemade, healthy meal together each time.
The Health Skills Mentors will cook with you.
Online Monthly Cooking Class
A FREE monthly online cooking class.
This takes place every first Wednesday of the month.
It takes place over Zoom.
We will cook a homemade, healthy meal together and eat together towards the end of the session.
Face-to-Face Activity Days
A FREE activity day twice a year.
This will include specific themes around health.
We will also cook a homemade, healthy meal together at lunchtime and eat together.
Personal Support
A FREE 6-week course for you focusing on your independence, health, and life skills.
This will be just you and your mentor spending time together in your local community.
If you find joining in online hard we can meet you in person.

We accept referrals from both the community and professionals in West Sussex.

NHS service providing time limited counselling for young people aged 11-18 yrs in West Sussex.
Allsorts

The Trust for Developing Communities
Works in Moulsecoomb and Whitehawk with young people 1-1 or in groups or activities to support networks and forums in the community.
The Hangleton and Knoll Project
A variety of activities and support from coaching to casework for young people across a range of issues. Can be 1-1, virtual or group work.
Youth Advice Centre (YAC)
Offers advice, support, guidance and family mediation to young people in Brighton and Hove.
Black and Minority Ethnic Young People's Project
Activities organised by young people, for young people.
