Breck’s Last Game
Breck Bednar was a 14-year-old boy murdered in 2014 after being groomed online
Breck spent lots of time gaming – often playing against other online ‘friends’.
‘Breck’s Last Game’ is a film made to raise awareness of the dangers of online grooming among boys. Northamptonshire Police, Leicestershire Police, Surrey Police and Essex Police worked together on this film with the support of Breck’s family.
The film was initially sent to schools with some guidance to help teachers make sure pupils got the right support. If the film were shown in the cinema it would have a 15 rating. If you’re worried by anything you see in the film, you can:
- Speak to your parents or a trusted adult
- Speak to your School Nurse
- Speak to the pupil support team in school
