Supporting young people into employment in health and social care.
CARE4Notts and The Prince’s Trust are working in collaboration to support young people aged 16-30 who are not in education, training or employment and support them into employment and apprenticeships in health and social care. This is for both clinical and non-clinical roles.
The ‘Your Time is Now’ project will offer 1:1 support to individuals in finding the right role and career pathway in health and social care and support and guidance with applications, interview skills and the recruitment process.
The project also aims to support organisations with recruitment through running Prince’s Trust Get Started or Get Into programmes.
A Get Started/Get Into programme provides young people with a greater understanding of roles and pathways available in the health and care sector. Young people will have access to skills building sessions, support with applications and interview skills and an insight into working in health and social care.
If you would like a discussion about the project and how it may support you or vacancies in your team, please get in touch. Emma.cross15@nhs.net
