The confidential school nursing texting service.
If you’re worried about your feelings, health, growing up, relationships or even your exams then why not text a school nurse using CHATHealth, a confidential text service that enables you to send messages to a dedicated number.
The service, run by Nottinghamshire Healthcare, is available to all young people aged 11 – 19, and can provide confidential advice on a range of issues like bullying, emotional health and wellbeing, sexual health as well as illnesses.
Text messages are delivered to a secure website and the school nursing team will pick up and respond to texts within one working day. The service is available Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm excluding bank holidays. During out–of–hours, anyone who texts the service will receive an automated message with advice on where to get help if their question is urgent.
The ChatHealth number is 07507 329 952.
