Get your family feeling FAB!
FAB Club is an initiative by Your Health Your Way Nottingham to get children and parents more physically active and educate the importance of balance in meals and healthy diets.
Your Health Your Way (Commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council), as part of the wider community health care provider ABL Health, strive to support people to become active participants in their own care, enabling them to become healthier and happier for longer.
FAB stands for Food, Activity, Balance.
Food – Helping you achieve nutrition on a budget, save precious meal preparation time and even manage those fussy eaters in your house!
Activity – Getting you moving through fun, interactive games and activities for the whole family.
Balance – Small changes in diet and activity can lead to big improvements in mental wellbeing. Help is provided so you can keep track of it all, stay motivated and balanced as the benefits start to take shape.
A spokesperson said: “We are driven by our vision to eradicate health inequalities through our free community healthcare programmes. From weight-loss support to stop smoking, our team of experts will work with you to take back control of your health.”
