Online support is available for those with eating disorders
Teenagers in Nottinghamshire who suffer from eating disorders are being encouraged and empowered to get help with the assistance of the BEAT helpline, website and online chat.
Telling someone your concerns about an eating disorder and about recovery can be daunting. But BEAT have put together an advice page to help you have conversations that will give you the encouragement and support you deserve on the path to recovery. They provide details of how to get treatment for your eating disorder. There is a free telephone helpline which provides friendly, non-judgmental advice. BEAT also offer a range of online support services including one-to-one and group chat. For more details, call the helpline on 0808 801 0677, visit the website at https://www.beateatingdisorders.org.uk/ or use the one-to-one web chat at https://www.beateatingdisorders.org.uk/get-information-and-support/get-help-for-myself/i-need-support-now/one-to-one-web-chat/ An information sheet is also available to download on this page. |
