3 Ways To Keep On Track At School
Sometimes it can feel like you can’t do anything right and you’re constantly getting into trouble. It can feel like school rules are taking over, however it’s important to try and remember that they are there to keep yourself and other people safe.
If you’re getting into trouble at school, try and think about what’s happening to cause it and how you can break the cycle. Here's some things to think about:
Try and be prepared for the school day.
For example, get your uniform ready before you go to bed and make sure homework is done well before it’s due in, and not left until the last minute.
Try writing a list of all the things you have to do, or use a calendar or diary to keep track.
Talking to someone such as your parents, carers or a trusted adult about what’s going on at school can help.
Sometimes just talking through difficulties goes a long way to making them better!
If you’re struggling with the work, other students, peer pressure or bullying, talk to your teachers, school nurse or somebody from student support at the school.
There’s lots of things the school can do to help you!
