A countywide, friendly and confidential service for 16-24 year olds who are in need of HYH services. The advice and information worker will support the young person and give realistic advice and options and where relevant, family members. Mediation can be provided to help prevent family breakdown and youth homelessness.
If homelessness cannot be prevented, the service will aim to support a young person to access appropriate, safe accommodation.

Coaching Direct
Coaching Direct is an innovative company that provides Life Coaching/mentoring to young people in schools. Coaching Direct has helped young people from 10 years old to build and maintain psychosocial well-being and help to reach goals by delivering and developing solutions. There are three levels of interventions best suited to the young person.

What we offer
Stand-by-me offers information, advice and support to help children, young people and their families living in North Hertfordshire understand and manage their grief.
Stand-by-me provides dedicated bereavement support for children, young people and their families in North Hertfordshire and Stevenage. The charity was created after listening to the views of young people and their carers about what they would find most helpful when they experience the death of someone close to them

THRIVE - Young Person's Clinic in Harpenden and St. Albans area
If you are aged 11-25, you can access a dedicated young person’s clinic in the St. Albans and Harpenden area. If you are registered with a GP in these areas you can make an appointment through your own GP to attend a young person’s clinic.
The GPs are especially trained to work with young people of your age groups and can advise and support you with any issues or concerns you have about your emotional and physical health.
Remember – book an appointment through your own GP to be seen at one of these clinics.

Teens Unite - cancer support for young people from 13-24 years
Teens Unite is a support organisation for teenagers who have been diagnosed with cancer although it offers support for 13 years to 24 years. At a time when a young person can feel very vulnerable, Teens Unite bring 13-24 year olds together.
Through workshops, activity days and residential stays, Teens Unite provides the on-going social, emotional and physical support needed by these young people. Cancer does not stop when treatment stop, the effects of a cancer diagnosis can be long lasting and often life changing and affects family and friends around the young person with the condition.

KIDS HUB are a national charity, providing a wide range of support services to disabled children, young people and their families. The HUBs provide free and impartial support over the phone, by email or face-to-face (including home visits).
ERIC
ERIC is a national charity that provides information, support and resources to children, young people and their families and health professionals on bladder and bowel problems.
ADD-vance (Autism, ADHD and related conditions)
ADD-vance provide specialist information, training and advice for professionals, as well as support for children, adults and families on issues relating to Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related conditions. We provide monthly support group meetings in Hertfordshire, (St. Albans and Hertford) plus a telephone helpline.

Spectrum Families and Young People’s Service (FYP) – Hertfordshire
Spectrum FYP is a free and confidential drug and alcohol service for young people aged under 18, young adults up to the age of 25 and their families in Hertfordshire.
FRANK
Frank offer a 24 hour confidential helpline for young people with questions or concerns about drugs and/or alcohol, or you can chat online with advisors daily from 2pm – 6pm.

Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC)
Hertfordshire Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) is an Independent, supportive service for people over the age of 13 that have experienced a form of sexual abuse, whether that be rape, sexual exploitation, grooming or sexual assault.
Through the SARC, people can access an ISVA – Independent Sexual Violence Advisor. The role of an ISVA to give independent information and support so victims can make the right decisions for them on how they want to move forwards.
Through the SARC – people that have experienced sexual abuse recently and are unsure as to whether they want to report to the police can meet a nurse and have a forensic medical examination, any forensics gained would then be stored for an amount of time to give victims an opportunity to consider what they would like to do regarding reporting to the police.
