Supporting the Health and Well-being of Students in Enfield
Enfield’s School Health Service plays a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of children and young people aged 5 to 19 years. Delivered by the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, this service is designed to support students in mainstream schools across Enfield, ensuring they receive the care and guidance they need to thrive.
Enfield’s School Health Service is dedicated to ensuring that all children and young people in the borough have access to the health care and support they need. By promoting healthy lifestyles and providing essential health services, the school nursing team helps students stay healthy, happy, and ready to learn.

School nurses are public health professionals who play a vital role in the early identification of health issues and the promotion of healthy behaviours. By working closely with schools, they help create a supportive environment where students can achieve their full potential.
Parents, school staff, and young people can contact the Service directly for support. The central point of access can be reached at 020 3 988 7300 or via email at northmid.cedarsn@nhs.net. A Duty Nurse is available Monday to Friday 9 to 5 (excluding bank holidays).
